Coordinating the wedding vendors

Wedding Tips No Comments »

Make sure your wedding coordinator knows your vendors. If you have not hired a professional to take care of the details, make sure the contact at your wedding reception has all the information. If the coordinator has not heard of a vendor, take the time to second check this vendor. This is a one way to find out if you have made a good choice in your selection.

Have some fun!

While you are in the middle of your wedding planning, make sure you take the time to have some fun!  The actual day will go by so quickly so make sure you enjoy yourself during the planning.  Every wedding is unique and you can get lost in trying to plan every little detail.  Take the time to relax, connect with old friends, go to a spa and pamper yourself after a long day of calling wedding vendors.

Let the Season begin!

We are now in full pre-wedding season mode. My phone is ringing and the e-mails are coming in from brides who are planning their upcoming wedding. Remember this: almost 80% of your wedding takes place in the time PRIOR to the wedding day itself! Share this planning with loved ones ( maybe an elderly aunt or grandparent) that may not be able to make the actual wedding. Keep a disposable camera in your bag so when you are out and about, you can take candid shots of all this work you are doing. These will make fabulous entries in your wedding journal or photo album!
