I just finished a wedding cake that was such a dark shade of maroon it looked black. While the bride was trying to match a color swatch from the bride’s maids dresses, it is important to remember that not all colors look edible to your guests. It was a nice concept to have all colors match and I can match almost all colors I am given, but sometimes less is more.
