We just wanted to send you a huge thank you for the fabulous cupcakes you made for our wedding. They were perfect and a huge hit. In fact, we were able to bring them to the bar for the after party and then to our room for the after-after party and were the perfect snacks after a long day. They were delicious. The cupcake tree looked beautiful and everyone was really impressed. We were extremely happy and really appreciate all your hard work that went into this.

Hi Sue,

Kathleen and I were wondering why the flowers were omitted from the bottom layer? The contract did refer to fondant flowers and leaves similar to the picture…

Joan,I am so pleased you liked the cake.The flowers and leaves, when put on the cake, looked out of place and ruined the look of the upper tiers/the birch work on the pillars. I went back and forth with the wider, gold ribbon and the smaller ribbon with more floral detail and due to the size of the cake, the narrow ribbon looked better. Remember, the cake in the picture was for almost 300 people and so it was much larger than yours. I hope your disappointment wasn’t too great and I appreciate the chance to go over my artistic decision with you.
